This annual 'men's only' event brings together men from across Queensland and beyond for a special time of fellowship and teaching 'bloke' style. This year features Richard Chin the Australian Director of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) a popular movement in many Universities across Australia who are encouraging and equipping students to spread the word of God in their university and beyond. John Mackay, Australian Director of Creation Research will also be speaking and sharing his knowledge and testimony of maintaining a Christian worldview in the face of opposition. The line-up of speakers, activities and attractions for Recharge 2008 is growing all the time!  Tim Hein is the Keynote Speaker and Andrew Sercombe is returning to lead the main sessions.  A huge range of quality elective speakers will address a wide range of practical issues.  We’re excited about the speakers coming to share with us over the weekend. Stay tuned for more details about what is planned for the social event on Friday night!  There’s always footy finals on the big screen, a jumping castle, The Pinnacle (HigherGround’s climbing wall), sport and lots more.  Great food and live entertainment will feature at the Recharge Café and heaps of books, music and other material will be available at the bookshop.  Watch this space for more details over the coming months!
