 
Welcome to the Mt Tamborine Convention Centre, Beacon on Tamborine. Camp Panorama and the Tourist Park onsite of the Convention Centre provide a variety of accommodation options for group hire by schools and community organisations whilst the Chalets provide a more private, self-contained accommodation experience for people looking to escape, relax and unwind.
 
ENVIRONMENT Much of the area was originally covered in dense jungle scattered with towering gum trees. Regeneration of rainforest remnants on the property is well advanced and the majestic white-trunked gum trees remain a much admired feature of the Convention Centre landscape today. The property is almost encircled by the rugged cliffs of the Tamborine Mountain escarpment. Nearby lookouts offer inspiring views of distant mountain ranges and the undulating lowlands hundreds of metres below. Often the dawn reveals a mountain wrapped in cloud with trees and buildings in soft focus against the swirling fog. The wonders of creation are clearly visible in the night sky in the spectacular canopy of stars and constellations arrayed overhead.

The unique climate, landscape and scenery of Tamborine Mountain attract thousands of visitors to the mountain each year. While you are enjoying your stay with us we encourage you to explore the natural wonders of the mountain. Beautiful tropical rainforest walks and waterfalls are only minutes away and leafy parklands and picnic areas abound.
If coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques and galleries are more your style, then Gallery Walk in the heart of Tamborine is close by. Tamborine Mountain is also an excellent base for exploring the tourist attractions and amusememt parks of the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
