Escape to the only caravan and camping park on the Tamborine Mountain plateau. This small, grassy camp ground set amongst towering gum trees and lush vegetation is a perfect destination for a quiet weekend getaway with family or friends.

 

The camp ground includes an amenities block providing toilets, hot showers and laundry facilities. Fireplaces are provided for barbecues and camp fires (please supply your own firewood) and picnic tables are scattered around the camp site for the convenience of guests.

 

This is an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the beauties of nature, but it is also only minutes from the many restaurants, boutiques and galleries for which Tamborine Mountain is renowned.

WILDLIFE PROTECTION:

The Convention Centre property is home to a wide variety of native birds and animals. A comprehensive listing of the native species that may live on-site or visit from the adjoining National Park, has been compiled by local naturalist Peter Kuttner, and is available at his website. 

For the protection of our native friends, and for the convenience of guests, domestic animals such as dogs and cats are not permitted in the camp ground.

Camp Panorama provides comfortable dormitary style accommodation for up to 80 people. The 14 rooms within the main accommodation wing cater for up to 43 people in various bed configurations. An additional 37 beds are contained in three separate cottages adjacent to the main accommodation wing.

The large open plan dining hall/communal area contains a commercial kitchen.  Our chef can cater for special dietary requirements and morning teas, afternoon teas and suppers are included in the per meal price. A minimum of 30 people for 6 meals is required. Self-catering may be permitted in some circumstances.

The dining hall is ideal for meetings and seminars. It contains a lounge area, TV, DVD player, projection screen and whiteboard. A data projector is available for hire. The fireplace is very popular during the winter months.

A beach volley ball court is located adjacent to Camp Panorama and there are areas set aside for other outdoor activities. Various other specialised activities can be arranged for your group if required.
