Canon Simon Manchester was a gravedigger then a high-school teacher before going into the ministry. He was Senior Minister at North Sydney’s St Thomas’ church for 30 years where he was also Chaplain to the local Rugby League team, ran a weekly business ministry called "The Bible Means Business" and his sermons began to be played on Sydney’s Hope 103.2 radio.

He has been privileged to speak at various conventions including Keswick U.K. and CMS Summer Schools in both NSW and Qld. He preaches to the professor and the plumber through a variety of opportunities designed to reach sophisticated urban Aussies with the transforming message of the Cross.

He is married to Kathy (50 years) and they have three grown up children and three grandchildren. He reads, walks and (safely) rides an E-bike. We look forward to learning how we can be biblically ‘deeper people’ attempting to have a significant ministry in an ever increasing ‘shallow world’
