Report a safeguarding concern

Everyone should feel safe at MTCC. Tell us if a child or vulnerable person may be unsafe, if someone has crossed a boundary, or if you have a complaint about how we keep people safe. You do not need proof or all the details.

Immediate danger or urgent medical help: call 000. This form and email are not emergency services and are not continuously monitored. Do not wait for a reply before protecting someone or making a required external report.

Children and young people

You can tell any trusted leader if something worries you. You can say no to uncomfortable behaviour, ask someone to help you speak up, or use this form. You do not need a parent’s permission to ask for help. We will take you seriously.

Who receives your concern

  • About MTCC staff, including the CEO: Bill Vine, Board Chair.
  • All other concerns: Ross Dinnar, CEO.

You may use the form below, speak to an event leader, or report to an external authority. If a contact is involved in your concern, unavailable, or you do not feel safe using an internal route, use the other contact or an external authority. You can report anonymously and ask for help with language, disability or communication needs.

Reporting to authorities

This is an internal MTCC form. It does not make a report to police, Child Safety or QFCC and does not replace anyone’s legal reporting duties. Internal approval is never needed to contact an authority.

MTCC workers: reportable allegations or convictions must be reported to the Head of Entity as soon as practicable. If the matter concerns the CEO, report directly to QFCC; sending it to Bill alone does not replace that route. Personal police and professional mandatory-reporting duties also continue to apply. See our quick reference guide at SAFE.

Send your concern

Only the concern and the routing choice are required. Leave contact fields blank if you prefer. Include only what is needed to explain your concern; do not upload or send images of abuse. Use the last field to tell us about immediate risks, reports already made and a safe way or time to contact you.

Privacy: your report is emailed through MTCC’s website and mail services to Bill or Ross according to your choice. We use it to assess safety, respond and meet legal duties, and may share necessary information with unconflicted case handlers, authorities and relevant advisers. Website, hosting and mail administrators may have technical access, including through mail logs. This form is not an independent confidential reporting service. We cannot promise absolute secrecy. If that creates a concern, contact QFCC directly. We do not send an automatic copy of your report to your email address.

What happens next

The recipient assesses safety and the reporting steps needed. If you provide a safe contact method, we aim to acknowledge within two business days. Urgent action and legal deadlines apply sooner where required. We will discuss safe updates and support, protect good-faith reporters from retaliation, and handle the matter with appropriate confidentiality. If you do not hear back, contact Bill or Ross directly or use an external authority. You can raise a concern again or seek an unconflicted review.
